BOOK 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE
Please! Try to make your booking at least 30 days before your expiry date in case CAA require further investigations or I need to liaise with CAA for you.
If you see me up to 30 days before your expiry date, the CAA allows the date on your new certificate to be calculated from the expiry date. You will not lose this time by coming to see me early.
By leaving it too late your certificate may lapse before your next one is ready.
For an initial pilot medical you may need a booking up up to 1 ½ hours. Please book a double appointment for initial pilot medicals.
For a recreational pilot medical you only need an MOT… DL9 endorsement P certificate, which I can do.
However I need the last 5 years of your GP notes to confirm your medical history first. This you can get released through your GP.

For CAA pilot medicals I use SkyCert – the online medical certification programme. Please go to www.skycert.nz and register and fill out an application form.
SkyCert also has a lot of helpful information about getting your first medical or renewing your medical.
